About Andesite
The short version
Old tests are how you get good at an event, and the teams with the biggest test banks stay ahead. Andesite is where you trade for the ones you are missing, one test for one test.
We only help trade tests that people already have. We have nothing to gain from this platform. We built it because trading through DMs left too many people with nothing to show for it.
Why we built this
Test trading runs on Discord DMs and whoever your captain happens to know. It breaks the same ways every year:
- Nobody checks whether a test is real
- Scammers who take tests without giving anything in return
- No way to tell who actually has what
- Big teams with more connections get everything first
- Nothing happens to the people who scam
We cannot make people less shady, but we can make it harder. Nothing here costs money, and no test moves unless both sides give one up.
What the site does
Verified tests
An admin checks every test before it counts, and file hashes catch links that do not match what they claim to be.
Trust scores
Everyone has a score that moves with their trades. You can see who follows through and who ghosts.
Pre-trades
Line up trades for a tournament before you go, so you are not starting from nothing the week after.
1-for-1 trades
One test for one test. Nobody hands over a file and gets nothing back.
Who built it
Andesite is a side project. There is no company behind it.
